Aulona center in Vlora is opened in November 1998 as a branch of Albania Center for Population and Development (ex Albania Family Planning). In the focus of the Aulona Center are women with their families and youths.

The services offered by the center are:

• Psychosocial counselling
• Counselling on family planning
• Contraception
• Pregnancy tests
• Gynaecological and obstetrical visits
• Colphoscopy
• Pap tests
• Gynaecological and obstetric Echography
• AIDS tests, gonorea tests
• Training on reproductive health
• Informative workshops with youths and women
• Awareness activities

Actually Aulona Center is implementing the project “Center for integrated Social services” in the frame work of the program “Delivery of the Social Services” financed by World Bank and in collaboration with Vlora municipality. The target groups of the project are women and youths at risk. The goal of the project is the integration of these categories of population in the society.

The staff is composed by :
a coordinator, two gynecologists doctors, a social worker, a psychologist, two nurses ( one full time, one part time volunteer).
